Coaching Rules GUFC Code of Conduct

The GUFC Codes of Conduct have been adopted for use by the Club at all matches, training sessions and social occasions. Specifically these are:


Players Code of Conduct

  • Play by the rules
  • Never argue with a member of the Club or Match Day Officials
  • Verbal abuse of any person is not acceptable or not tolerated Obscene language of behaviour will not be accepted or tolerated under any circumstances
  • Players should not react with violence
  • Racial taunts or discriminatory comments of any kind are unacceptable
  • Respect your Coach, Officials, team mates, opponents and spectators
  • Win, lose or draw, shake the hands of opposition players at the end of the game
  • Treat the opposition's facilities with respect and leave the rooms and grounds as you found them
  • Ensure all injuries are treated promptly and report to relevant people
  • As a representative of the Gungahlin Junior Soccer Club you are required to act in a professional manner at all times

 


 

Coaches & Official Code of Conduct

  • Officials and coaches are required to enforce and abide by the Players' Code of Conduct
  • Condemn the use of violence (physical, verbal or any form), be it by spectators, coaches, officials or players
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the rules of the game, of training methods, both theory and practical
  • Provide quality supervision and instruction for all players
  • Be reasonable in your demands on players' time, energy and enthusiasm
  • Follow good medical advice when determining when an injured player is ready to recommence training or competition
  • Never ridicule a player for making a mistake or losing
  • Ensure that equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are appropriate to the ability of the players
  • Coaches and Officials should ensure that spectators abide by the above Code of Conduct



Breaches of the code of conduct will be treated seriously. Plesae report any breaches to the Coaching Director
