Hello GUFC Members,
Preparations for the coming season are progressing well with preliminary team selections for the U19-U18 age groups being completed ready for team nominations to Capital Football. This process is done via committee, usually on the long weekend and this year took no less than 13 hours! It is a mammoth feat and I wish to thank all of those that give up their long weekend to ensure our team selections are as good as they can be. Team selections for all other age groups will be commencing this week.
Please read on for important information about the coming season....

Gungahlin United is calling for male players turning 36 or more this year that are interested in playing Men’s Masters. The club has fielded a Div 2 side for the last 4 seasons and is looking to expand to have a Div 3 as well as a Div 2 side. So if you are looking to play a more social style of football or you are that little more serious about your football – G.U.F.C. can cater for you.
In addition, If you have a little spare time traditionally on a Wednesday night (training) and Sunday mornings (game Day) and would like to coach an enthusiastic but aging group of players, we would be interested in having a dedicated Coach for our Masters division this year.
For more information please contact Phil Granger on 0408 480 877 or vicepresident@gungahlinunitedfc.org.au |
